Dr. Roberta Satow received her Ph.D. in Sociology from New York University and is Professor Emeritus of Sociology at Brooklyn College and the Graduate Center of the City University of New York, where she taught for many years. She did her psychoanalytic training at the National Psychological Association for Psychoanalysis (NPAP). Her books include Doing the Right Thing: Taking Care of Your Elderly Parents Even If They Didn’t Take Care of You (2006) and Two Sisters of Coyoacán (2017). She’s here to talk about her new novel Our Time is Up (2024).
