Dr. Lara Sheehi is a psychologist, psychoanalytic practitioner, scholar, activist, and President-elect of the Society for Psychoanalysis and Psychoanalytic Psychology (SPPP), Div. 39 of the American Psychological Association. She was a co-organizer of the 40th Annual Spring Meeting Div. 39 spring meeting, a two-weekend virtual conference, held in March 2021.
